Your Key To Success: DIGITAL MARKETING





This post is about my experience learning digital marketing. Now before you make a move for that close button on your browser, let me stop you by saying that at the end of this post is a link to Udacity’s Digital Marketing Nanodegree (DMND) program.

The digital marketing landscape is always changing and evolving so you need to constantly be learning new skills. So if you want to learn digital marketing from one of the most recognized online providers in the game, do yourself a favor and enroll in this program. You’ll be happy you did!

So if you want a structured program that’ll teach you the full suite of skills(content marketing, SEO, SEM, display advertising, email marketing, and analytics) through hands-on projects, then this course is right for you. I figured that it is our habit of learning that will keep us in good stead during this hour of massive shift.

Digital Marketing was a topic that I was very interested in, given that it was an area I had challenges in during my start-up stints. Given that this area is only going to gain even more significance the world gets more and more digital, I thought I should start with this topic.  Especially as we face the challenge of the Covid-19 epidemic also.

A few weeks into the course, I am really happy that I signed up for this. The course is structured beautifully: with videos, examples, live projects, evaluation and community features for that ‘real’ classroom feeling. The fact that the course has been put together by leaders in the space — like Google, Hubspot, Hootsuite, Facebook etc. to name a few — makes the course extremely credible.

I think I finally am getting the method to the extreme joy when it comes to digital marketing. I learn one lesson a day and am looking forward to earning my first nanodegree from Udacity.
